Day 12

It is cold in the office tonight.  The family has gone to bed early after watching the 71st Golden Globe Awards together.  I love this tradition of ours.  I remember perching myself in front of the TV with my sketchbook and a large Ziploc bag full of colored pencils and quickly sketching out every single red carpet gown that flashed upon the screen.  I don't do that anymore but it's really nice finding not just a soul mate but a soul family.  We watch all the big awards shows together, for the Oscars my in-laws throw a party, and we always eat homemade nachos and guacamole.  Sitting together in the living room with our TV trays and plates of nachos, Tyler in his booster seat doing the same with his little blue plastic plate and "Finding Nemo" sippy cup, I honestly thought that life was perfect.  I am so lucky.  I love my family.

I really, really do:

Today, Ryan and I did some extra work for his mom at the clinic.  Ryan and Geri moved some furniture, rearranged the office supplies, and Ryan ran some virus scans on the computers.  I completed the scheduling book, started on a new one, did some referrals, and wrapped two diaper boxes in contact paper to make some toy bins.  Tyler napped for a good hour while we were there and then he was up to help.

When I started vacuuming the lobby, Tyler disappeared.  I was just about to ask Ryan where the baby went when he came toddling back in with a broom in one hand and Wolfie in the other.  Funniest entrance ever.

He is Mommy's favorite little helper.

It still isn't 10 yet but I am so excited to go to bed.  I'm actually excited to watch TV.  The only problem is I don't know which show to watch, "Revenge" or "Downton Abbey??"  Oh, who am I kidding, my heart only has room for Emily Thorne.  Let's see how she gets herself out of trouble tonight...

While I'm getting my "Revenge" on, please enjoy these outtakes.  A la Wheezy Waiter (whom Ryan and I love, check him out), this is our family wink.  *ping*
