What does it mean if your child's idea of play is to clean his play things?
This evening when we brought Tyler up to the nursery for bedtime we let him play for a little bit before settling him down for bed. He got into his drawer of play food and after feeding Elmo, he began "washing" the bowls, the cups, the strawberry yogurt...And then he went on a cleaning spree. He cleaned his horse. He cleaned Goofy. He cleaned Daddy.
He also enjoys brooms. This is going to make weekly chores go so much more smoothly when he's older.
We got some fun pictures in today. Tyler was in a silly mood and Mama chose an inopportune time to eat some fajita springrolls. Daddy has the same smile pasted on.
